New 40 Hour LPC Supervisor Training Course Coming Soon!!

We’re over halfway through 2020, and what a wild year it’s been! As I’m assuming has occurred with many of you, COVID has drastically changed our daily lifestyle, and created many hardships and challenges we never would have dreamed possible just a year ago. Since March, the world has changed, and so we too must change with it. For all of you that have suffered, or have loved ones suffering, you are in my thoughts.

Regarding change, the counseling profession has made a major pivot into telehealth and working remotely. With the need for more continuing education options available online as well, I’ve been working for quite a while developing a 100% online 40 hour LPC Supervisor Training for Texas LPCs that will be available in the very near future. My goal is to have it fully operational on my course site by the end of September. If you are interested in taking the course, I will be offering a REDUCED RATE for the first few professional counselors that sign up in the hopes you will be my pilot group, offering me feedback and critique to make the course as awesome as possible!

As for the course, it will be broken down into manageable sections that meet the criteria set out by the LPC Board. One of the reasons I’ve been delayed in getting this program up and running is we (LPCs) are in the midst of a major change! If you haven’t heard, Texas LPCs will now be under the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council starting September 1, 2020. Due to this, the LPC Board rules have modifications that don’t go into effect until September 1, so I want to have the most updated information. The biggest change I’m working to modify in all my material: LPC Interns will now be LPC Associates! Overall, I think this is great, and I actually prefer using the title “Associate”. BUT, you can imagine the pain it’s been to try and go back and change all the “Intern” words into “Associates”.

So, with all that said, I will have an amazing 40 hour LPC Supervisor Training course for Texas LPCs (LPCs that meet the LPC Board’s qualifications for becoming a Supervisor) in the very near future.

If you want to learn more, or get on an email list if interested in taking the course, contact me here:

I will be creating more posts as we get closer to launch with all the exciting details about the course. I think you’re going to love it!

All the best!
