I’m really excited about this new course! Since the TX LPC Board modified the continuing education (CE) requirements to add a 3 hour course on Cultural Diversity or Competency, I wanted to create a course that would provide Texas LPC Supervisors with both their 6 hours of Supervisor Refresher, as well as the 3 hours of Cultural Diversity all at the same time!
You get 6 cumulative CE hours that meet the criteria for:
RULE §681.140 (a)(1): An LPC must complete 24 hours of continuing education during each renewal period that they hold a license. The 24 hours of continuing education must include 6 hours in ethics and 3 hours in cultural diversity or competency.
RULE §681.140 (b)(1): A licensee with supervisory status must complete 6 hours of continuing education in supervision.
RULE §681.140 (d): Acceptable cultural diversity or competency hours include, but are not limited to continuing education regarding age, disability, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, language, national origin, race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, and socio-economic status.
Like all my other courses, my goal is to provide you with informative, efficient, and affordable CEs. After purchasing the course, you will receive access to a downloadable PDF to read. Afterwards, there is a super simple 5 question (no fail) quiz to complete. The final step is to complete a survey as required by the LPC Board and your certificate will automatically be generated for download, and/or printing.
